2014 In Review: New Brunswick March For Life Videos (Part 2)
A rather passionate speech by Ann O'Keefe:
A few words from the Archbishop Valéry Vienneau:
There were plenty of MLAs present; some say - as many as 23 of them - which is too, a record number. Here are 2 speeches: By Bill Fraser, a Liberal MLA for Miramichi-Bay du Vin and by Jody Carr, a PC MLA for Oromocto.
Please excuse the blurry and shaky picture. When the MLAs began to speak, camera men from the mainstream media rushed to the scene, so we had quite a hard time not to bump into one another. P.S. Yes, it's the same Bill Fraser who, just a couple months later, silently accepted Brian Gallant's warning that all Liberal MLAs would be required to vote in favor of his pro-abortion initiatives and then, in December, was himself speaking out against the PC motion to retain the old abortion funding restrictions.
Finally, here are the speeches by Marion Fogan from the Catholic Women's League and Armand LeBlanc from the Knights of Columbus:
2014 In Review: New Brunswick March For Life Videos (Part 1)
Opening prayer by Pastor Perry Edwards (Sovereign Grace Baptist Church), followed by Peter Ryan's speech:
There were about 800 of us - a record turnout, almost twice compared to the past years. Marie Claire Muzzerall-Gautreau shares her experience of being a teenage single mother. She is introduced by Beth Crouchman, president of the NB Right to Life. The theme of this year's March for Life was - Women and Children First. Peter Ryan elaborates on that in his speech: Some music by Evangeline Inman:

New Brunswick March for Life 2012
A few pictures from the recent New Brunswick March for Life.
This year's March for Life started with a Mass.

The rally at the Legislature - with about 450 people present. "The crowd was bigger, more youthful and more upbeat than ever"

The theme of the 2012 NB March for Life was, "Pro-Woman, Pro-Child, Pro-Life"

Speaker Elisha Lakin with adoptive mother:

16 of the 55 Members of the Legislative Assembly attended the rally, including nine of the governing Conservatives and 7 Liberals.

Roses - to commemorate about 1000 New Brunswick babies that die in abortions every year.

Prayer circle at the Mother and Child Welcome House - just across the fence from the abortion facility.

Check out Life Site News for a detailed report.

New Brunswick March for Life 2010
Please join our Tenth Annual March for Life at the New Brunswick Legislature on May 13.This event is held in conjunction with the National March for Life taking place on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and at legislatures across Canada. This year the theme is Abortion: Crime Against Humanity.
The killing of an innocent child is a crime against both God and humanity. Are not the people of God called to defend the innocent? That is what we do at our March. Over 1,000 innocent children are put to death in our own province each year, a large and apparently growing number with our own tax dollars, in our public hospitals. Is that not reason enough for us to clear our schedules and set aside this one day for life? If you have children, or grandchildren, why not give them a day off from school and bring them: their witness is invaluable!
In Fredericton last year over 400 were present, and 18 Members of the Legislature. The politicians look to the people for guidance. But they also count heads. Let’s give them lots of both! Please think of our event as a witness rather than a protest. We are witnessing to God’s undying love for every child and mother.

Exodus 2009 - New Brunswick March For Life Video
At least 406 people came to the New Brunswick Legislature to commemorate the tragic 40th anniversary of legalized abortion in Canada. Among those present were 17 MLAs, both Liberals and the Progressive Conservatives - that's nearly 1 in 3 lawmakers.
Here's a three-minute video collection: a rally at the New Brunswick Legislature, a march through downtown Fredericton and a prayer circle at the Mother and Child Welcome Center. Check out The Daily Gleaner for a detailed report on the pro-life rally at the Legislature. A "live blog" report with a few pictures is available on the Stand Your Ground blog.
On behalf of Moncton Right to Life, I'd like to thank everyone who joined us that day to raise his voice for the voiceless unborn babies. Thank you, and let us never stop our march towards the country where every child is protected by law.

Count-Down To March For Life
National March For Life video: Along with the National March for Life, there will be regional Marches for life in almost every province, including New Brunswick.
Please join us for the 2009 March for Life in Fredericton! It's Thursday, May 14 - 40 years to the day since that tragic day in 1969 when abortion was first legalized in Canada. Since then some 25,000 children have lost their lives just here in New Brunswick! Let's speak up for the voiceless unborn babies, who are being denied the most important right of all - the right to life. Hope to see you on May 14th!
Buses, sponsored by local pro-life chapters, are available from Moncton, Bathurst, Saint John and Hampton-Sussex.

Bilingual Color Brochures For The New Brunswick March For Life
From Peter Ryan:
And, by the way, if you take a closer look at the brochure, you may find the graphics that was compiled by yours truly. Even the wording remained almost the same since it had been first published in October of 2007. Well, I'm glad I could contribute something to the brochure (even if it wasn't a direct contribution). Hopefully, it touches a few more hearts, bringing more people to the March for Life.
Dear Friends,The brochures are now available for download at our website. Those are three-fold brochures so both sides must be printed to get full text in English language (Here's mostly English part and mostly French part.)
Here is a copy of our new brochure for the 2009 March for Life! It's bilingual and in full color (note: you have to print both files to get the full text in either French or English). We got a great deal on these, so will 5,000 at the first of the week for mass distribution!
The theme (Exodus) is the same as the National March, focused on the 40th anniversary of abortion in Canada.
We are pleased this year to have not only the Knights of Columbus but also the Catholic Women's League as a co-sponsor of our event.
When the brochure is sent out, it will also contain accompanying information on the line-up of speakers.
Please use this brochure to spread the word, so this will be the biggest and best March ever! Things are shaping up, with plans for at least 4 busloads coming from out of town (Saint John, Bathurst, Moncton).
Yours for life and love,
Peter Ryan

Re. Brochure Distribution: We plan to mail the brochure to each chapter, each K of C council, each CWL council, and a select number of other supporters likely to respond. If your group is doing a mailing to its members and would like to include a brochure, please let us know. Or if you will be attending a social gathering (e.g. conference) where those present might be receptive, we can provide brochures for distribution.
