Here are 2 speeches: By Bill Fraser, a Liberal MLA for Miramichi-Bay du Vin and by Jody Carr, a PC MLA for Oromocto. Please excuse the blurry and shaky picture. When the MLAs began to speak, camera men from the mainstream media rushed to the scene, so we had quite a hard time not to bump into one another.

P.S. Yes, it's the same Bill Fraser who, just a couple months later, silently accepted Brian Gallant's warning that all Liberal MLAs would be required to vote in favor of his pro-abortion initiatives and then, in December, was himself speaking out against the PC motion to retain the old abortion funding restrictions. NB Right to Life Ad Complies With Advertising Standards

FRDERICTON, New Brunswick, January 11, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Advertising Standards Canada (ASC) has dismissed a complaint made against a “low-key” pro-life TV ad aired by the New Brunswick Right to Life Association.

The ad, entitled “Lifesaver,” aired over 200 times in October and November. It featured a female firefighter thanking her mother for choosing life, a choice that has now enabled her to save lives.

In November an anonymous complainant to ASC alleged the ad violated the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards. It was argued that the ad “discriminates against women by indirectly shaming women who choose abortion.” NB Right to Life was forced to respond, or risk a ruling that could have prevented the ad from airing in the future.

The Right to Life group denied the charge of discrimination, pointing out that while the ad praises one woman’s choice to continue her pregnancy, “it implies no condemnation of women who have made other choices.”

40 Days for Life Closing Rally

A special cake to thank all the volunteers who took part in the 40 Day vigil for Life.
The wall of fame - those are just some of the ~250 volunteers from all across New Brunswick who came to pray at the vigil site.

The pro-aborts tried to counter our vigil several times; they were able to gather about a dozen of people on one or two occasions, but they couldn't match our vigil. Today, in the vigil's last hours they gathered again - just to find over 30 people on our side.

(One of them later sent us an e-mail request to have their pictures removed. Not sure if we actually needed his permission to post the pictures, considering that the sidewalk by the hospital is a public space. But if they don't want their faces to be seen - I guess we can honor that request.)

To those, who had the courage to reject donuts and coffee when offered (because the 40 Day vigil meant not just praying, but also fasting) - an exquisite buffet.

Exodus 2009 - New Brunswick March For Life Video

At least 406 people came to the New Brunswick Legislature to commemorate the tragic 40th anniversary of legalized abortion in Canada. Among those present were 17 MLAs, both Liberals and the Progressive Conservatives - that's nearly 1 in 3 lawmakers.
